EQIP Gladstone is the single over-arching body established to manage and administer the FOUR successful work ready and pre-trade training courses available to senior high school students.

The future sustainability of these programs requires a collaborative approach from local businesses and employers, Education Queensland, local state high schools, students and other community organisations.
These programs provide several benefits to business, the
1) Altruistic reasons. That is, organisations invest in the community educational initiatives without necessarily looking for a direct financial return in their investment. However, supporting a community-based program such as EQIP will help support our community well into the future. Getting these students ready for work, means they will stay in the local community.
2) Financial benefits and Time efficiencies. Savings on recruiting and training costs can be made giving an associated financial advantage. Employers are encouraged to have input into course development to tailor training to their business.
